For the first time ever in my career, I have received my entire allotment of influenza vaccine by the first week of August. After countless seasons of delays, shortages and confusion — the system finally worked! The current Center for Disease Control recommendation calls for everyone over the age of 6 months to receive the vaccine. They have done away with the concept of "high risk" groups.
